MoneyPal Advance is earned wage access — not a loan, not revolving credit, and not priced with interest or an APR. The controlling agreement is the version you accept electronically in the MoneyPal app before each advance. This page summarizes key terms for website visitors.
1. Nature of the service
MoneyPal Advance provides eligible users early access to a portion of wages or recurring income already earned but not yet paid. MoneyPal Advance does not charge interest, does not establish a revolving balance, does not present fees as an annual percentage rate, and does not use traditional bureau credit scores to gate access in its current design.
2. Eligibility
To request MoneyPal Advance you must: maintain an active MoneyPal account; be at least 18; reside in an eligible state; connect a U.S. bank account that receives payroll or recurring-income deposits; complete required identity verification; and authorize MoneyPal and its providers to access account and transaction data for verification, fraud prevention, servicing, and legal compliance.
You may link more than one account but must designate a Primary Income Account and a Repayment Account (often the same account).
3. Limits
- Up to 40% of estimated net pay for the applicable pay cycle
- Maximum $400 per advance
- One advance per pay period
MoneyPal may reduce limits, deny access, or require additional verification for fraud, legal, operational, or risk reasons.
4. Fees
Membership: Access to the full MoneyPal app (insights, budgeting, Intelligence, and related features) requires an active membership (currently $4.99/month, disclosed at enrollment). Membership does not guarantee Advance eligibility.
Advance delivery fees: Flat service fees may apply based on amount and delivery method (standard ACH vs. instant where supported). Exact fees are shown in-app before you confirm each transaction. No interest, late fees, penalty fees, or mandatory tips.
Typical disclosed fee bands (actual fees shown at confirmation may vary within these ranges):
- $50–$100 advance: standard ~$2–$6; instant ~$3–$9
- $101–$200: standard ~$4–$12; instant ~$6–$18
- $201–$300: standard ~$6–$18; instant ~$9–$27
- $301–$400: standard ~$8–$24; instant ~$12–$36
5. Repayment
By accepting an advance, you authorize MoneyPal to seek repayment:
- By debiting your Repayment Account when MoneyPal detects your next qualifying payroll or recurring-income deposit; then
- By one or more partial debits if full funds are not available on the first attempt.
A backup debit card is not required. Repayment is primarily via ACH from your designated Repayment Account.
6. ACH authorization
You must separately assent to a MoneyPal ACH/EFT Repayment Authorization identifying the payment trigger, amount methodology, repayment priority, revocation instructions, and proof-of-authorization details, consistent with Regulation E and Nacha rules.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and not to use false credentials or defraud MoneyPal. Nothing limits your rights under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, including the right to revoke future preauthorizations as permitted by law.
8. Fraud and suspension
MoneyPal may delay funding, cancel pending disbursements where legally permitted, require enhanced verification, refuse new advances, or close accounts for fraud risk, abuse, or misuse — subject to applicable law and your non-waivable rights.
9. State availability
Advance is geo-fenced to states where MoneyPal is licensed and compliant. See state availability on our website and in-app notices. Membership and non-Advance features may be available nationwide.
